Common questions
Why would I need to edit a PDF's metadata?
Whatever created the file originally — Word, a scanner, another tool — often leaves its own Title, Author, or Subject baked in, which can be wrong, embarrassing, or just missing. This lets you set it properly, or clear it, without needing the original source file.
Can I see a field's exact current value before changing it?
Yes — every field shown is pre-filled with whatever the PDF already has, so you can see exactly what's there before editing or clearing it.
