What this site does with your files

Foliovex's PDF tools run entirely in your browser using JavaScript. When you choose a file, it is read and processed on your own device — it is never uploaded, transmitted, or stored on any server operated by Foliovex. We have no ability to see, access, or retain the contents of any file you process here.

What data we do collect

Beyond standard web server access logs kept by our hosting provider (e.g. request timestamps and IP addresses, used only for security and uptime purposes), this site does not collect personal data or maintain user accounts. This site itself does not use analytics or track visitors, beyond the standard web server access logs described above.

The Speed Test tool is an exception

Every other tool on this site is covered fully by the section above. The Speed Test is genuinely different: measuring a real internet connection requires exchanging real data with a server, so that specific tool sends and receives disposable, meaningless bytes with Cloudflare's public speed-test network (speed.cloudflare.com) while a test is running. No files, resume data, dates, or any other information from elsewhere on Foliovex is included in that exchange, and no other tool on the site makes a comparable request. Cloudflare's own handling of that traffic is governed by their privacy policy, not this one. Separately, the tool keeps a history of your own past results (download, upload, ping, and jitter, with the date and time) in your browser's local storage on your device — never transmitted anywhere, and removable at any time with the "Clear history" button on that page.

Advertising

This site shows ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies (including the DoubleClick DART cookie) to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. For users in the EEA and UK, ads are only personalized where consent has been given, in line with Google's EU User Consent Policy.

Cookies

Aside from any cookies set by the advertising described above, this site does not set its own tracking cookies. Your browser may store small amounts of data locally (such as your consent choice, if applicable) purely to remember your preference on return visits.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
