No, and we'd rather be upfront about that than oversell it. It's a local, rule-based check for genuinely common issues — weak phrasing, missing metrics, thin sections, keyword overlap with a job description — not a simulation of any specific employer's actual software. Treat it as a second pair of eyes, not a pass/fail guarantee.
ATS-Safe is the safest default if you're applying through a company's online application system, since it avoids anything a parser could stumble on. Modern, Classic, and Minimal are better suited to being reviewed by a person directly — a recruiter, a referral, or printed for an interview.
Yes. Everything you enter is saved to your browser's local storage automatically as you type, so it's still there next time you open this page on the same device and browser. Use "Export JSON backup" if you want a portable copy, or plan to switch devices.
Not yet — this is a genuinely hard problem to do reliably (turning a PDF or DOCX back into clean, structured data), and we'd rather not promise something that half-works. For now, the JSON import is for backups made with this same tool, not for outside files.
