Common questions
Does cropping remove content permanently, or just hide it?
Cropping changes a page's visible boundary — content outside the new boundary won't display or print in most readers, but the underlying content can still exist outside that boundary. For anything sensitive, use the editor's Redact tool instead, which genuinely removes content rather than just hiding it.
Can I preview the crop before applying it?
Yes — the tool shows a live preview on the first page as you adjust the margins, before you commit to anything.
