You don't have to take this on faith:
- Open your browser's developer tools (F12, or right-click → Inspect) and click the Network tab.
- Select a file and use this tool as normal.
- Watch the Network tab — no request fires when you select, process, or download. If your file were being sent anywhere, it would show up there.

Common questions
Can I undo a reorder if I make a mistake?
You can keep dragging pages back into place before saving — the file isn't actually changed until you download it, so nothing is final until then.
Does reordering work well on very long documents?
Yes, though dragging individual thumbnails becomes less practical well past a hundred or so pages — for very long documents, Split and Merge in the order you want can be a faster path.
