Add an image to a PDF
Put a picture, logo or stamp on any page.
Your file stays in this browser.
You don't have to take this on faith:
- Open your browser's developer tools (F12, or right-click → Inspect) and click the Network tab.
- Select a file and use this tool as normal.
- Watch the Network tab — no request fires when you select, process, or download. If your file were being sent anywhere, it would show up there.
About Add an image to a PDF
Open your PDF and the editor is ready with the image tool: choose a PNG, JPG or WebP picture (or drag or paste one in), then drag it into place and resize it from the corners — the proportions stay right unless you hold Shift. Add as many images as you like, on as many pages as you like, then save. The images are embedded in the PDF itself, and nothing is sent to a server at any point.
Common uses
- Putting a company logo on a letter or quotation.
- Adding a photo to an application form.
- Placing a scanned stamp or seal on a document.
Common questions
Which image formats can I add?
PNG, JPG and WebP. A PNG with a transparent background keeps its transparency on the page, which is handy for logos and stamps.
Will the image lose quality?
No — the picture is embedded as it is, and the rest of the page isn't touched, so text stays sharp and selectable.
Can I add my signature as an image?
Yes, but the signature tool is better for that: it can take a photo of your signature and remove the paper behind it automatically.
